Celery Top Pine

Family: podocarpaceae (large family of about 200 conifers, mainly from the southern hemisphere)
Genus: phyllocladus (A genus of only five species and only one from Australia being aspleniifolius; the others are mostly from New Zealand)
Species: aspleniifolius


 

Pale straw colour, fine straight grain, no perceptible taste or odour, ideal for kitchen utensils.
