Species: ebenum, geminata (queensland ebony), kaki (persimmon, japanese), australis (black plum, yellow persimmon), insularis (macassar); plus many many more.

 

 

 

Famous African, Asian, South-East Asian and northern Australian timber. Black in colour, sometimes streaked with brown. Extremely dense, ideal for fine detail work.
