Found on many colonial homesteads in Tasmania. Also a significant planting at Hollybank Reserve near Lilydale, Tasmania, intended as timber for a local tennis racquet factory.
Very good steam bending timber; was used for sporting equipment such as tennis racquets and a very good timber for tool handles because of its flexibility.
