"Dalek" salt/pepper spice mill
Could it be a "Dalek"? Partly inspired by the famous "Doctor Who" character indeco's "Dalek" abstraction will have all you "Doctor Who" fans in raptures; and also partly inspired by observing people operating our fully handled mills, thus: they would straddle their index and middle fingers over the top knob and curl the ring finger around the stainless steel handle; and then operate by keeping the top stationary whilst turning the mill's body anti-clockwise (see pictures at bottom of page).
N.B. One is still, effectively, grinding clockwise by this method; as one should.
You'll enjoy grinding with this unique mill which is fitted with a fine, smooth action, top adjusting ceramic mechanism, infinitely adjustable from fine to coarse.
Adjustment of this semi-handled mill is via a stainless steel knob fitted to the top of the grinder. A pair of mills is differentiated with the letter S engraved in one of the spherical nuts.
The mechanism carries a 25 year warranty .

We prefer to operate this mill by keeping the top stationary whilst turning the body of the mill anti-clockwise. It works very well indeed!
