Mieke's mayonnaise

 

Ingredients:

At room temperature:

1 organic egg yolk

1 teaspoon french mustard

1/4 litre sunflower oil

1 lemon

pepper and salt

 

Utensils:

deep plate

stainless steel whisk

pepper mill

salt mill

teaspoon

 

Preparation:

Gently stir the egg yolk, mustard, a few drops of lemon, pepper and salt in the same direction while hugging the base of the plate .

Pick up speed while raining drops of oil,  increasing the rate of oil as the mixture thickens.

Add more lemon drops salt and pepper according to taste.

 

Et voila , Bon Appetit !
